Runaway Brats

Runaway Brats is a children's fitness program that involves cardio, strength, balance, co-ordination and flexibility training. It is also designed to educate kids on nutrition as well as building their confidence and self-esteem. It aims to provide personal training to kids that is a fun way for them to be physically active.
 
Each session will include:
  •  warm up activities
  •  cardiovascular & resistance fitness
  •  fun games
  •  stretch & flexibility
  •  health and nutrition
Runaway Brats Trainers are Tegan and Justine. Between the two some of the qualifications include:
  • Certificate 3 and 4 in Fitness Sciences, Children’s Exercise Cert – Fitness Australia Registered
  • Both hold Current First Aid and CPR
  • Both hold Working with Children’s Check
  • Tegan: 8 years experience working with young people in the Justice setting.
  • Justine: Fully qualified Nurse/ Midwife

Not only will kids enjoy the obvious health benefits of regular exercise it is well known that kids who are physically fit sleep better and are better able to handle physical and emotional challenges. Kids will develop strength, endurance, flexibility whilst at the same time learning that exercise can be fun. They will learn new skills along the way which will help their self-esteem and confidence grow. Healthy, physically active kids are more likely to be academically motivated, alert, and successful. Through Runaway Brats we hope kids learn about setting goals, meeting challenges, sportsmanship, teamwork, and the value of practice.
